ISMuseum is a US 501(c)(3) (tax-exempt, non-profit) company incorporated in the state of Texas. Our reason for existing is to manage and support the International Spaceflight Museum (a.k.a. "ISM"), which is a virtual-only entity begun in 2005. At this time, the ISM has a presence in two major virtual worlds, or "grids", SecondLife (http://secondlife.com) and Kitely (http://kitely.com). In both grids, we are well-known for our collection of full-scale 3D rockets and other space craft representing a number of national space agencies and private space companies, as well as for hosting events relevant to our mission of bringing information and excitement about space exploration, science, technology, and engineering to the public.
