The Science Talk is run by a group of volunteers on a mission to share their love of science with the world by connecting scientists directly to the public through videos and social media. On our YouTube channel we interview scientists about their research, their life in science and issues facing the STEM community. We talk to researchers from a variety of disciplines, countries and career stages to showcase the diversity of people and experiences in science. Our Real Scientists Nano project consists of a twitter account and a podcast. We invite people working in materials and nano science to take over the twitter account for a week to talk to our 2750+ followers about their work. In the accompanying podcast Under the Microscope we chat to them about their career, research interests and visions for the future of science and academia. We also offer workshops and training to help scientists establish a strong digital presence.
