Medwood Services provides a full range of management support services to NY Family Practice Physicians, PC d/b/a NY Family Docs which currently operates 10 primary care practices in Queens and Brooklyn. Our managed practices provide more than 40,000 visits annually, providing low-cost, high-quality care within medically under-served communities. Three additional sites will be added in the Fall 2020. Medwood plans to expand significantly in the next few years within the five NYC boroughs, helping to fill a gap in the healthcare system for primary care physicians who are able to efficiently and effectively manage the entire spectrum of healthcare-related services that families need, particularly in communities facing a shortage of primary care providers. Expansion will occur both by acquiring existing practices & building new sites. Medwood Services was purchased by Bridges Fund Management in July 2018 as one of their Growth Business investments.
