Early on, we worked with a Canadian manufacturer based in Calgary, Alberta to design, develop and supply firefighter turn-out gear (bunker gear) to the highest government and third party standards. We successfully supplied this high quality, low cost and quick lead time turn-out gear to fire departments across Canada such as; City of Vancouver, City of Edmonton, City of Regina and numerous industrial clients and municipalities. By the early 2000’s, we had seen a tremendous growth in our industrial client base such as Syncrude, Suncor, Shell, Dow, Nova, Petro-Canada and to be successful as a supplier we recognized the need for the timely supply of items with the highest standard of product integrity and traceability. This meant that we were involved in every step of the bidding, procurement and supply process. Our expertise with the requirements of large end-user clients led us to bid on, and be awarded, turn key projects at Suncor Millennium and Suncor Firebag Stage 1. These projects included the installation of building and area fire protection systems utilizing market leading sub-contractors and our on-site management team to deliver the projects on time and on budget.
