Brought to life in the late 19th century and incorporated in 1939, Rosa Mosaic & Tile Company is rich in culture and terrazzo knowledge. Created by the Rosa family who emigrated over from the northern city of Friuli, Italy, Rosa Mosaic has a long standing legacy of providing excellent customer service, outstanding craftsmanship and wonderful hospitality to their clients. Over time many other young men came over to the United States seeking work in the terrazzo trade, one young man was John Cristofoli, who began working for Rosa Mosaic in 1950. John became very close with Louis Rosa and his family, that when time came to pass on the company, Louis and his nephew insisted John to be the only one to buy the company and be in charge, or the company was to be shut down. Fortunately, John Cristofoli and his family bought the company and Rosa’s legacy lived on. Now, Rosa Mosaic is still owned and operated by the Cristofoli family, two of Johns children have taken over the company, Anna Tatman and John Cristofoli, seeing that the company still upholds the legendary standards which it was founded upon. Working all over the country to provide excellent customer service and exceptional craftsmanship, Rosa Mosaic is one of the top competitors in the market and still represents true hospitality for their clients, which has allowed the company success and longevity throughout the time.
