The Hunt family has been in the Yuba-Sutter counties of Northern California since 1826. Farmers and dairymen by trade, the Hunts have been involved in agriculture for generations. Hunt Farms primary commodity is rice. The Hunt Family Farm project, created by Hallie Hunt, is a spinoff of Hunt Farms, intended for the latest generation of Hunts to keep their agricultural heritage alive, as well as share the benefits of local food production with the surrounding communities.
