JNY is a Swedish kids clothing brand founded in Åre 2005. A winter day in Åre, a hobby became a business and a dream come true. From the very beginning our focus has been on designing and manufacturing sustainable high quality children's clothing in design, material, sewing and fit. The company's head quarter is still in Åre and it is here our skilled designers get their inspiration to create the clothes. We think kids want to be kids and not small adults. Therefore, clothes for children should be beautiful, playful and made with utmost care in all joints. Our aim is not that all adults will like our clothes without all the children to love them. Buying an ecolabelled garment is one of many steps to contribute to a change, but there are many more. A garment that keeps color, shape and function for a long time means an even better choice. For us, sustainability involves making choices that always mean the best for our children and for our environment. In order to meet our values and quality requirements, today all our production is taking place in Europe. This allows us to work very close with the manufacturers in order that the working conditions correspond to laws, regulations, but also our own even higher demands. Production in Europe also means significantly shorter freight routes. Today we are very proud that all our cotton garments are made of GOTS™ certified organic cotton. Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS ™) is an international certification for clothing and textiles that cover both social and environmental requirements.
