Ox-Tec, from Oxidation Technologies Pty Ltd, offers an economical and comparatively simple solution to treating semi- and mixed-refractory sulphide ores to enable increased gold recovery via conventional leaching processes. Ox-Tec differs from other refractory treatment processes which generally require high: - initial and sustaining capital expenditure - operating costs - levels of technical skill to operate. Ox-Tec uses industry-standard equipment, together with commonly available reagents, to achieve similar process outcomes to higher-cost process options. The Ox-Tec process is patent-pending and was recipient of West Australian Government Innovation Voucher Programme Funding in 2020.
