Members work to maintain the highest standards and to share a uniquely Canadian experience in public relations and communications management. MISSION The Canadian Public Relations Society, as a distinct Canadian association, seeks to: 1. Group all public relations practitioners in Canada and to foster their professional interests; 2. Advance the professional stature of public relations, in cooperation with its regional Member Societies and with like-minded organizations in other countries; and 3. Oversee its practice for the benefit and protection of the public interest. Networking As a member of CPRS, you’re part of an extensive national network of professionals, spanning a wide variety of sectors and representing a broad base of knowledge and expertise. Accreditation CPRS Members are eligible to become Accredited in Public Relations (APR), an industry standard for measuring professional excellence in public relations. Awards The CPRS Awards of Excellence recognize outstanding achievement in a comprehensive public relations project or program. Affiliations Through affiliation with the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the Global Alliance, CPRS Members have access to exceptional resources and opportunities to connect with professionals from around the globe.
