Michael Young, President & CEO, founded the Service Company in 1988. While working as a facility planner for al arge bank, Mike noticed a need for temporary or additional skilled technicians - staff that could be there when you needed them but not on the payroll when not required. He started The Service Company to fulfill that need. Over the years, through an established network and positive referrals, the company has grown into a full service facility management, maintenance and construction firm. Commercial office furniture is our newest division with access to hundreds of manufacturers for customized solutions. Today, The Service Company is proud to have served the Virginia and Mid-Atlantic region for 30 years.
