CLAW is the Consortium of Local Authorities in Wales that supports the professional and technical interests of property collaboration, design, management and maintenance in the Welsh public sector. CLAW was formed in 1962 and works with representatives from the elected members and officials of all Welsh local authorities and seeks to engage with all public sector organisations to promotion excellence in the design, construction, management and maintenance of public sector property assets. CLAW has a number of Working Groups: Property Design Property Maintenance Asset Management & Estates Mechanical & Electrical Energy The Asset Management & Estates Group meets in collaboration with the Welsh Branch of ACES (The Association of Chief Estates Surveyors)
