The WeAreLightsOfTheValley campaign serves to inspire prospective students, current students, potential donors, and alumni through recognizing the profound achievement of current students and alumni. The campaign is largely inspired by the WeAreMenOfMorehouse campaign that was launched this past fall. Fort Valley State University has been a bastion for public higher education since its inception in 1895. This platform strives to bring to light the achievements of current students and alumni that may go unrecognized without this platform. We are our ancestors' wildest dreams and so it is pertinent we continue to showcase our achievements to ensure there is no need for anyone to question the relevance of our institution as higher education continues to evolve.
