Our platform provides access to state-of-the-art legal research technology and a constantly growing international database of legal documents (i.e. case law, legislation, policy and literature) sourced from European jurisdictions. We're continuously improving our platform's capabilities and expanding the coverage of our international database. Ultimately, we aim to cover the European Union, EU member states, EFTA member states, the United Kingdom (including Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories), EU membership candidates and ECtHR. Moonlit's mission is to impact society and legal industry through providing a holistic, cost-effective and A.I.-enabled legal research solution which increases the quality and efficiency of legal research, relieves stress on legal systems, and improves access to justice in Europe. In order to achieve better legal research Moonlit re-uses legal documents from public databases and tries to maintain or enhance value of existing metadata (e.g. national classification systems). Furthermore, Moonlit strives to leverage the capabilities of modern technologies in the fields of natural language processing (NLP), machine learning (ML), information architecture and information retrieval.
