Our club offers every fourthgrade student in the eleven Chiang Mai municipal schools the chance to take fifteen hours of basic water survival training. Development Abnormalities Screening in Children CMIRC is working to develop a larger project in screening for child development abnormalities. We aim to train educators, parents and healthcare professionals on how to recognize early years' developmental disorders with the help of simple objects BCMF BK Kee Patient House The Burma Children Medical Fund (BCMF) operates the B.K. Kee Patient House here in Chiang Mai. The brainchild of BCMF founder Kanchana Thornton, the house provides accommodation for patients and their families who come to Chiang Mai for treatment. Club members visit the house weekly, interacting with the children and providing recreation and support B.E.A.M. Foundation - GED Program Myanmar refugees in Thailand can't receive an accredited high school diploma. Passing the American General Educational Development test gives them access to higher education. Our club supports BEAM by preparing students for successful completion of these tests Children's Winter Clothing & School Supplies Appeal Every year, our club organizes a Children’s Winter Clothing & School Supplies Appeal. We help collect warm winter clothes, shoes and stationery, and distribute it to children in need, living in the mountains of Northern Thailand, where temperatures drop below freezing point.
