Advans Cameroun is the first of a network of financial institutions called advans group. It is a Microfinance Institution licensed by the Cameroonian Ministry of Finance, which offers credit to urban micro, small and medium sized enterprises which are poorly served by the banking and microfinance sector. Advans Cameroun offers a simple yet adapted loan product range (group lending, working capital and investment loans), as well as deposit-taking (current accounts, savings accounts, term deposits), with the ambition of becoming the preferred financial partner for micro, small and medium sized enterprises in Cameroon. The first branch launched its operations in Douala in May 2007. As of end of December 2017, it boasts 15 branches and 02 points of sales in nine cities (Douala, Yaoundé, Bafoussam, Bamenda, Garoua, Maroua, Ngaoundere, Kumba and Loum), more than 67 thousand clients, a loan portfolio of about 30 million Euros and a deposit portfolio of about 30 million Euro.
