Our Mission - Support Ethio-Canadian students (University and high school) by providing career development advice, mentorship and vocational counseling. - Promote networking among professionals of Ethiopian origin in the National Capital region to better serve their aspirations in career development and advancements Our Activities include: - Student bursary, organize information sessions as well as recognition events on a regular basis. - Provide mentorship activities that include matching, one-on-one sessions or group sessions with career professionals in the field of interest. - Organize networking activities for professional members. Principles - PAECO is a non-political entity, and shall not promote or advance any political agenda or activities - PAECO is founded on a spirit of sharing and is based on mutual respect and support for each member of the association, and ; - PAECO shall strictly abide with all applicable legal and ethical standards within the bounds of Ontario and Canadian laws. Who We Work With Although our target community is the student and professional population in the Ottawa-Gatineau region with Ethiopian origin, we work with organizations and agencies in the area with similar goals and objectives.
