Fears Watch Company Limited is one of Britain’s oldest family-run watch company. First established in Bristol in 1846 by Edwin Fear the business grew through the generations to be the largest watch manufacturer in the West of England. Having survived two world wars, Fears closed down in 1976. The company was re-established in 2016 on it’s 170th anniversary by the great-great-great-grandson of the original founder. Today Fears designs and makes watches by hand in Great Britain using design elements from the extensive company archive.
