HOUSE OF BILIMORIA
www.houseofbilimoria.comOur vision is to share the beauty of ‘LUXCYCLE’ far and wide. With a passion, and love for South Asian textiles, but not limited to. We take these often once worn, or discarded beautiful sarees, lenghas, salwar kameez’s and turn them into one of a kind handcrafted contemporary pieces. They are designed with wearability in mind. So fabrics are treated with threadwork, interlinings that bring them up to the standard of durability required for the style they are in. We also make use of end-of-line, industry waste, and locally sourced fabrics to support these creations. Being a small business that has been built organically, we aim to work with businesses that are like-minded, family founded and carried through the generations. Coming from an ancestry of skilled tailors, our founders heart lies in the ethics of the industry. Often having been told that this is not moving forward, but going backwards. The skills that she bestows, runs through her veins, and she prides herself on being taught these at a young age and having honed them through the years through a love of the craft itself. Bringing people back home to the fact that what they choose to adorn their bodies with is the expression that they walk in the world with.
