Puli Space Technologies develops a low cost, lightweight, planetary rover platform with unique mobility capabilities carrying payloads, as well as payload instruments, which can survive the harsh lunar environment, explore lunar resources and support In-Situ Resource Utilisation (ISRU) on the Moon. ** Our first lunar payload: the Spacetime plaque ** Our first payload on the Moon will be the Spacetime plaque, a time capsule on Earth and on the Moon at the same time. With the Spacetime plaque, we will create an eternal memory for the Mighty Magyars, among others! The Spacetime plaque will be delivered to the surface of the Moon in 2022, onboard the Peregrine lunar lander of US-based company Astrobotic Inc., our official Moon delivery partner since August 2016. ** NASA challenge winner payload: the Puli Lunar Water Snooper ** Puli Space won the 1st prize ($30,000) on the "Honey, I Shrunk the NASA Payload" challenge of NASA JPL in "Lunar Resource" category, with its innovative design of a miniature payload looking for water ice on the Moon. The Puli Lunar Water Snooper (PLWS) is currently under development and will be able to identify and map subsurface hydrogen content of the lunar soil, mounted on lunar micro-rover as early as 2024. NASA supports the development with $225,000 USD funding and technical expertise for a year starting in January 2021.
