Express (Hangzhou) Technology Services Company (“Express Company”) is a joint venture formed by American Express, a globally integrated payments company, with LianLian Digital Technology Co., Ltd, a Chinese fintech services company, in 2017. It is the first RMB transactions clearing joint venture granted the bank card clearing business licensed by the People's Bank of China in mainland China. Express Company, aiming to connect the world through the powerful backing of service and innovation, brings together the power of American Express’ global experience and network, and the local resources and insights of LianLian. The joint venture is building a network business which will enable charges on American Express branded cards to be cleared and settled domestically. It will also be responsible for the network operation after its business opening license is approved by the Chinese regulator. This will bring the benefits and services of the American Express global network to Chinese customers and will expand the ability of global American Express Cardmembers to use their cards in mainland China. 连通（杭州）技术服务有限公司（下简称“连通公司”），是由知名全球综合支付公司——美国运通（American Express）和国内领先的金融科技服务公司——连连数字科技（下简称“连连数字”）于2017年合资成立。连通公司是中国大陆第一家获得中国人民银行银行卡清算业务许可的人民币交易清算合资企业。 连通公司以“服务创新，连通世界”为企业愿景，集合了美国运通的丰富全球行业经验和庞大环球网络与资源，以及连连数字的本地优势和市场洞察，负责筹建支持美国运通品牌卡在中国大陆地区使用的人民币清算网络，经有关监管机构批准后将负责该清算机构正式开业后的运营管理,以让更多中国客户享受到美国运通全球网络所带来的丰富权益和服务，以及让美国运通全球会员在更多中国大陆地区商户使用美国运通卡。
