The firm was founded in 1972 under the name Hassan Awada Law Firm by Hassan Awada. He was joined five years later by Adolphe Tyan, and the firm was renamed Awada Tyan Law Firm.   Hassan Awada is a former judge, a doctor in law and a law professor. A leading figure in Lebanese history and a notable jurist with many publications, Hassan Awada has been practising and teaching law for over 55 years.   Adolphe Tyan has been a prominent attorney for over 45 years, influencing legal doctrine and jurisprudence in Lebanon. He has contributed on several occasions to the drafting of new laws, and has represented the Beirut Bar Association in many cases before the Council of State.   In the 43 years since its establishment, Awada Tyan Law Firm has grown and become one of the leading law firms in Lebanon, earning a reputation for providing the highest quality legal services to its clients.
