The Musée d'art contemporain de Baie-Saint-Paul is the only museum institution in eastern Quebec devoted entirely to contemporary art. The MACBSP's mission is to showcase, promote and preserve contemporary art through the conservation, acquisition and diffusion of art by upholding the tradition of renewal and avant-garde that, since 1947 to the present day, has privileged contemporary creators open to emerging phenomena.
