LEDA puts on training with regional law enforcement UAS Teams, and agencies with a desire to start and maintain UAS programs. Trainings are held quarterly and at different locations within the Pacific Northwest region at this time, although we will be looking to expand our reach in the coming years. Each training covers legal updates, issues within the sector, new technology, policies and procedures, safety issues, unit updates, and then practical, scenario-based applications where pilots get stick time. LEDA also partners with drone manufacturers and other vendors to bring product demos to trainings when possible, so members can get hands on experience with products that will push their programs forward.
