Let It Be Us is an Illinois licensed Child Welfare Agency and a 501(c)3 Nonprofit. Specializing in recruitment and placement, Let It Be Us designs innovative programming to build a bridge between waiting children, including those who are in emergent need and/or are challenging to place, and foster and adoptive parents. The Let It Be Us programs are: Placement Support Program The Let It Be Us Placement Support Program's experienced recruitment team offers a customized solution for each child referred, creating a new unique database of parent resources for each child, which is delivered to the child's caseworker in a speedy and timely manner. Let It Be Us utilizes their aggregated registry of licensed and waiting parents, subscription-based platforms, and multiple social media tools, reaching thousands of licensed parents while targeting specific locations and demographics. Foster Parent Recruitment Webinars Held 4 times monthly, the Let It Be Us Foster Parent Recruitment Webinars directly recruit foster parents for waiting Illinois children. These webinars provide programming that reaches targeted audiences in different areas with different demographics, reaching individuals who are married, single, and same gender. Each event features a panel of experts as well as agencies from the area who are allowed a marketing table. Every attendee is given the opportunity to work with a Let It Be Us Licensing Coach who answers individual questions and helps each individual select their agency. In addition, Let It Be Us refers individuals directly to agency recruiters which improves customer service outcomes and increases the number of licensed foster homes in Illinois. Springboard to Adulthood This program serves young people in foster care ages 16+ by placing them within families or family-like housing and then provides wrap-around services to support life-sustaining educational and employment goals, improving their overall life outcomes.
