Codename One allows Java developers to build native mobile applications for tablets/phones on all mobile OS's: Android, iOS, Windows Phone, RIM and more. The resulting applications are native applications and not HTML wrappers of any kind. Codename One is based on an open source project developed since 2005 coupled with a cloud based solution that can seamlessly convert Java binaries to native platforms and compile them using the OS's native toolchain.
