Friends of Syria is a registered not-for-profit group established in Canada that is aimed at helping refugees who have been affected by the dire conflict in Syria. It is an organization comprised of notable public figures, political leaders, doctors, lawyers, journalists, and private citizens who have seen the human suffering taking place in refugee camps and have pledged to take action. Friends of Syria dedicates its efforts to providing resources and support to refugee camps located in Lebanon, a country where an estimated 1.1 million Syrians are located. The focus of our relief efforts is to help uplift and educate Syrian children who reside in these camps..
