www.liftoffbyccawr.comThe CCAWR is proud to be the recipient of over 2.9 million dollars in funding from the Canadian Government’s Black Entrepreneurship Program to develop & deliver a Black-led business accelerator and incubator for Black Entrepreneurs. 🚀 The CCAWR is collaborating with members of the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem of Waterloo Region and Wellington County, including Conestoga College, UW Velocity, Laurier Women Entrepreneurship Centre & Waterloo Region Small Business Centre, to develop and deliver a new incubator and accelerator program for Black early-stage entrepreneurs. 🚀 The LiftOff program will have a strong focus on supporting female entrepreneurs, and will provide access for Black entrepreneurs to business advisory services, incubator and accelerator programming, entrepreneurial workshops, and one-on-one mentorship opportunities to help them start and grow their businesses. 🚀 Black Canadian businesses make significant contributions to the Canadian economy, and yet continue to face systemic racism and obstacles in starting businesses. 🚀 We’re honoured and grateful for our community support & are so excited to support our Black community.
