Users include research groups from Danish universities and large international research consortiums as well as users from industry and the public health care sector. They all benefit from the fast, flexible and secure infrastructure and the ability to combine different types of sensitive data and perform analysis. Being one of the world’s most powerful supercomputers dedicated to life science research, Computerome plays a vital role in undertaking ambitious research projects, among others in personalised medicine and in developing new drugs based on better understanding the mechanisms of disease and their biology. The research projects running on Computerome involve, in many cases highly sensitive and valuable data, and the data is stored and processed with security and data protection as key priorities. Access to Computerome is available to everyone working in Danish Life Science research and we encourage health care, academic and industry users to use the facility.
