Integreat Queensland opens up opportunities for everyone from everywhere to get involved, feel welcome, learn new things, and contribute to a strong, thriving local community. For over 10 years, we’ve been helping new and existing residents across central Queensland to come together and enrich their lives through these connections. We support people from different countries, backgrounds and parts of Australia to confidently settle in, make friends, share their skills and culture, and build relationships with local people that benefit everyone. Through our range of programs, services, events and networks, we’re strengthening our region in four key ways: • Healthy communities – assisting newcomers and local people to develop skills and experiences, meet with other families, and learn how to make their communities more resilient • Regional participation – bringing together people from all backgrounds and cultures through local initiatives and events, and linking new residents with information, programs and services in the area • Learning for the future – offering education programs and support so people can get the skills they need, boost employment options, and create new opportunities • Strengthening networks – working with special interest groups and other local organisations to help them achieve their goals for our community.
