The Alliance Center for Education, formerly the Bethlehem Center of Charlotte, works with children and families to break the cycle of poverty by providing a continuum of high quality educational and support services. Founded by United Methodist Women in 1940, AC4Ed has improved economic mobility for thousands of children through early childhood development and K-12 year-round programming. Our mission is to provide high-quality education and support for children in need through partnership with their families. Our vision is to positively affect the future of children at risk by improving economic mobility through education.
