The Comedy International Conference is created by, for and with the international Comedy Industry. The aim of this annual event is to improve opportunities for the exchange of comedy between the UK, the rest of Europe and beyond. The Conference is for professionals in the international comedy industry, such as Agents, Festivals, Managers, Media, Promoters, Services and Venues who have an interest in developing their network and knowledge within the UK and worldwide. Despite the main focus of the event being on Live Stand-up Comedy, there is plenty of opportunity to discuss and compare other art forms, genres and media. We welcome Comedy Professionals such as Internet entrepreneurs, marketing, PR and Radio/TV producers, venues with an interest to add Comedy to their programming and professionals from the theatre & music industry to join the discussions, learn and share the knowledge. Our long term goals are for the Comedy International Conference to develop from being an annually returning event for the industry to: - Build a platform for the international comedy industry; - Address and solve common challenges the industry faces today; - Create cross border networking and promotional opportunities; - Explore options to support new initiatives and international talent.
