www.dsv.orgFounded in 1888, the Deutsche Segler-Verband (DSV) (German Sailing Association) is the governing body of the German sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing clubs, federal sailing associations and sailing groups. With more than 1,300 clubs and in excess of 180,000 club members, it is one of Germany‘s 20 largest elite sports associations. The DSV has made it their mission to improve the conditions for the practice of sailing and to support its members in their work. This includes comprehensive presentation of the sport of sailing to members of the public, consumer protection for yachtsmen and yachtswomen and the representation of their interests to industry, policymakers and associations both within and outside Germany.
