We are a government contracts and commercial litigation firm who believes in straight talk about legal issues and approaches to resolution. And we are proud to take the most challenging cases we can find at a cost smaller businesses and subcontractors can afford. We also are sensitive about the fact that lawyers have largely priced themselves out of everyone's ability to afford them, except the largest corporations in the United States. Many of the cases that we take for small businesses could not be economically handled by larger law firms because their overhead is so lopsided and large. We have controlled our overhead so that we can hold our rates down to affordable levels. As “refugees” from larger firms, our approach to the practice of law is different. We like the most difficult cases we can find. We like people calling us "lawyers of last resort." And some of our clients call us that because we have taken cases that many other law firms have turned down and successfully tried them or settled them.
