The School of Education and Communities at the University of East London is a school with a strong research culture, and a reputation for innovative, supportive and responsive solutions to diverse educational and community needs. The School houses three innovative and multidisciplinary research centres: the International Centre for Public Pedagogy, the International Centre for the Mixed Economy of Childcare and the Centre for Social Work Research, which engage in research and scholarship of local, national and international significance. Undergraduate and postgraduate courses are available in education, early childhood, special educational needs and inclusive education, professional education, social work, teacher education and youth work.
