www.slcc.eduCreated in 2016 as a one-stop-shop for Salt Lake County businesses and industry, the Division of Workforce & Economic Development (WED) merged resources for both business clients and individuals working in the nation’s fifth-most diverse economy. WED is an agile, creative and responsive training partner, with resources including the State-subsidized Custom Fit program and the capability to create custom training for organizations. Workforce & Economic Development also leads SLCC participation in partnered initiatives, including State/industry/education Pathways and workforce training for all populations. In its first year, the Division served approximately 12,000 individuals and more than 270 companies.
