“Fabula & Tales” was founded by Zeynep and her daughter Öykü Benli, who was brought up in Istanbul and educated at King’s College London. Fashion being their passion, they discovered a need that society was striving for. Elegant and cozy hand made slippers inspired by their oriental Ottoman ancestors... As life goes on by once upon a time… It all begins with our unique traditions and history that became our inspiration… As greetings used to be an important custom in our culture, the elegancy of our slippers were due recognition and must-have for first impressions. Borrowing our name from the latin word “fabula” (meaning “story”) is so fittingly tied to our inspiration for our impeccable slippers.
