Gether Contemporary is a gallery devoted to contemporary art. The vision is to present art which deviates from the beaten track and which provokes new thoughts and feelings. The profile is characterized by art which is devoted to new forms of expression and unexpected media.The gallery's exhibitions reflect the belief that art must tear down walls and test the limits of the possible. The fundamental idea of our cooperation with various artists is that art is about communication. We want to establish a dialogue between the art work and the spectator as we think that art has something important to say to us all. The Gallery was founded by Sophus Gether in the Meetpacking District in Copenhagen in 2014.
