We created this home away from home to give you a chance to unwind and to soak up the breath taking atmosphere of the Kawartha Lakes. The location couldn't be more perfect - just 90 minutes from Toronto, 75 minutes from Oshawa and 60 minutes from Peterborough. The cottage itself enjoys 4 bedrooms (2 x queens, 1 x double and 1 x bunk beds), bathroom: 1 x 3 pc (sink, toilet, shower) and a generous living space A well appointed kitchen including stove, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, pots and pans, tableware and cutlery, some basic essentials are provided 6 seat dining table and chairs TV with Netflix and Wii, Amplifier and Speakers Dock: 30' x 4' - 4 feet deep at the end of the dock, not recommended for diving, Row boat, Canoe, Lifejackets, Badminton, Petanque/Bocce Deck - Propane BBQ (gas provided), Picnic table, 6 seat external dining table and chairs Linen and towels provided (if requested) Easy water access to a weed-free, gradually sloping area of the lake. (Water shoes are recommended) Firepit Upto 6 parking spots Flat property, Child/elderly friendly (8 deck stairs to reach the entrance from ground level) Just bring your food and drink and you're good to go. The cottage benefits from glorious south/southwesterly views over Sturgeon Lake, ideal for watching the sun go down and enjoying a cosy evening by the firepit. For the active minded, the lake is known for its excellent fishing and a wide variety of water sports. The Kawarthas offer a great selection of trails, scenic drives, heritage sites and over 250 lakes and rivers, just waiting for you to explore.
