Mary’s Shelter is a multifaceted comprehensive housing and social service agency that addresses pregnancy, parenting and youth homelessness through proactive preventative work, crisis intervention services and stabilization back into the community. Mary's Shelter's housing and social service programs have been used as a model for establishing new maternity homes and its successful program has been replicated in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Texas, Alabama and Iowa. In addition, Mary's Shelter executive staff members have been consulted on every aspect of establishing a Maternity Home from the grass roots beginning to program development to creating a development plan.
