The Queensland Diving Association was affiliated with Queensland Swimming up until the late 1960's. It was then that they formed their own Association to be named Queensland Diving Association. Following this time QDA became incorporated as Queensland Diving Association Inc in 1988. Re-branding itself as Diving Queensland, has given the organisation a make-over in terms of modernising its 'look', and showing itself off as a more dynamic State Sporting Organisation. Diving Queensland's mission is to encourage, promote, advance, govern and administer the sport of Diving in and throughout Queensland for the benefit of all participants. Diving Queensland's vision is to be an innovative and successful State Diving Association.
