zaRECs (Pty) Ltd. administers the South African voluntary REC market along the lines of the EECS specifications on behalf of members of the voluntary Renewable Energy Certificate South Africa market participant’s association (RECSA). Certificates are readily available from registered Bagasse, rural PV and Hydro renewable energy facilities. Market participants adhere to a set of standard terms and conditions to commence access to the registry and declining volume based charges are applicable.
