ROAR Australia is committed to the prevention of abuse on children and adults by delivering engaging programs that focus on Personal Safety Education. Education on Personal Safety is vital as 1 in 5 children will experience sexual abuse before their 18th birthday (Pereda, et, cl 2009) and 1 in 6 older people are subject to some form of abuse (World Health Organisation 2017). Our Personal Safety 4 Kids and Personal Safety 4 Seniors programs provide tools and strategies that empower children and older adults to help reduce their vulnerability to abuse, neglect and unsafe situations. Our dynamic, caring team of professionals deliver our - KidsROAR Programs through ELC's, kindergartens, schools, sporting and community organsiations - SeniorsROAR Programs to retirement villages, residential aged care facilities, community groups and groups of Seniors. - ROAR Education Program that focus on Professional Development and education sessions for teachers, team members, parents and community members.
