Optimum Soccer Coaching has one goal; to develop players of all ages and abilities. Based in Santa Clara California, OSC was created to provide high quality coaching and a better coach to player ratio, allowing individuals the full attention and impact of a coach. With groups no larger than 8 players a coach can see each player in depth, break down each separate stage of a skill and improve every single player. OSC has been in development for nearly 10 years, created through experiences of playing, watching, coaching youth at grass roots to adults, recreational to professional levels. Through studies in the degree of Sport & Exercise Science using modern ideas, the coaching methods are continuously evolving, it's our belief that each aspect of the game should be taken into account. Physically we help players get fitter, faster and stronger with speed, agility and fitness stations, working footwork and changes of directions with and without the ball which relate to movements covered in games. Psychologically we can help players reach their optimal performance levels, finding motivation and utilising these in games. Tactically we teach positional roles and responsibilities, increase the knowledge of athletes' understanding of the game. Soccer coaches are teachers. Optimum Soccer Coaching was inspired by the great coaches throughout history, created through study of the modern game and sciences, has experienced players and coaches, is driven to improving the game, one individual at a time.
