Holzwerke Gleitsmann GmbH was founded in 1909 in Wipfeld am Main and since then our DNA is in the wood industry. Today, we run internationally oriented hardwood sawmills and a locally relevant timber trade. Our hardwood businesses in Unterspiesheim and Bergtheim supply the timber trade and our corporate clients with beech, oak, ashtree and various wood species. We commit ourselves to be CO2 neutral and to fulfill SDG and ESG goals in sustainability and diversity with the passion of our whole team. Gleitsmann is founding member of Employers for Equality and have been awarded the Impact of diversity award by FKI in the category “Beste Innovation in Mittelstand und Familienunternehmen"!
