To satisfy a continually growing demand for a range of electric actuators that were not only compact in size but big on functionality, Adam Chapman, Managing Director of AV Actuators, finally uncovered in 2015 what is now the instantly recognisable grey and orange AVA Electric Actuator. Seeing the potential for this basic and smart actuator range to fill the gap for a compact electric actuator in the market, he negotiated exclusivity for the actuator and then set about testing the actuator. With excellent test results behind him, marketing and promotion started, the first major tangible part of which is this technical web resource. The range of actuators focus on 20Nm through to 110Nm in an IP67 ABS housing offering on off, failsafe and modulating electric actuators. The complete range covers 20Nm to 400Nm with additional series (with limited functionality) to 1000Nm and 2000Nm models.
