Mediterranean Model United Nations (MEDMUN) is a Model United Nations conference dedicated to the Middle East and the Mediterranean region. It is hosted by the Middle East and Mediterranean campus of Sciences Po in Menton and aims to tackle some of the numerous issues facing this region today. It is a chance to understand the complexity of the United Nations’ mission in the Middle East and the Mediterranean region. One unique aspect of our model is the “crisis mode” and the total interactivity between our different committees that results from it. It is a stimulating experience that encourages a serious effort and collaboration among the different delegates. This will allow the participants to understand the intricacies of the interaction among the five different committees within the General Assembly and other United Nations agencies.
