Regional development is among main activities and scope of work. Working with local authorities, educational institutions, SMEs, NGOs . Engaged in identification of development opportunities, projects and development programs. The Agency is involved in energy efficiency infrastructural projects in educational sector, in preparation and monitoring of commercial and development programs, financial management and funding, as well as in monitoring the performance of the programmes, analyse and report on economic developments. Activities include monitoring the implementation of regional development strategy and updating data base of development projects. Lots of activities are related to human resources - Agency mobilizes resources and takes care of their coordination in strategic sectors. Among other things, Zagorje Development Agency advises on the opportunities and funding sources and organizes various trainings. Well experienced in the preparation and implementation of various projects co-financed from different EU programs, including PROGRESS ,INTERREG III A and IPA .
