Andrea Pino is an internationally recognized author, policy expert, and civil rights advocate for sexual violence prevention and education equity. She has delivered presentations at over 30 different institutions of higher education, educated student affairs professionals, faculty, and staff on Title IX, and creating compliant and accessible policies to support survivors. She is a co-author of "We Believe You: Survivors of Campus Sexual Assault Speak Out," and co-founder of the national survivor advocacy organization End Rape on Campus. Her advocacy has been featured in the New York Times, Vogue, CNN, Good Morning America, as well as many other media outlets. Her work and personal journey is prominently featured in the film The Hunting Ground, which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, and she appeared alongside Lady Gaga and 50 other survivors at the 2016 Academy Awards. Andrea is considered an expert in the areas of sexual violence, Title IX, media framing, women's leadership, social media activism, LGBT support and inclusion, and intersectional activism.
