La Plana's public health Department offers Primary health care in 33 municipalities through a University Hospital, 14 Health Centers, 29 Auxiliary Clinics and three Summer Clinics. La Plana's University Hospital is the reference hospital for its entire area of influence and is located in the city of Vila-real. Specialized care is carried out through the external consultations and the specialized medicine consultations available at the Virgen de Gracia Specialties Center in Vila-real, as well as in the health centers of the municipalities of Burriana , the Vall d'Uixó and Onda.
