The Denton Parks Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, was founded in 1987 to support projects and programs of the Parks and Recreation Department in the City of Denton, Texas.   Through the financial support of corporations, foundations, and individuals, the Parks Foundation provides funding to the City of Denton in order to support quality programming, activities and facilities for the community that would not otherwise be possible.
